Umeda Ayaka (梅田彩佳?), nicknamed Umechan (うめちゃん?), is a member of AKB48's Team K. She is one of the primary characters in AKB48 Murder Mystery series. She was based on and was portrayed by Umeda Ayaka.

While Mariko's team checks them for Alibis and Yuko's team looks for motives, Detective Maeda processes the scene. Afterwards, the group were called in for a last Handshake Event with Maeda Atsuko. After the event, Umechan, along with Hasegawa Haruna, Ota Aika, Nito Moeno, Nonaka Misato, Uchida Mayumi, and Saeed-Yokota Erena were declared above suspicion because all of them were left-handed.
